Ten's May-Dec '23 Sketchbook

This is a sketchbook that I drew in from May 2023 to December 2023. I started my first job in May and kept a sketchbook to keep me company on train rides and lunch breaks. I drew nearly every day, even when I was exhausted and at my limit. I was learning and experiencing so many new things that my heart couldn't keep up, and a lot of it culminated in drawings mostly, but sometimes also writing and comics. 

Inside you'll find Bungo Stray Dogs fanart, girls, OCs, more girls, linocut ideas, the worst figure drawing experience I'd ever had, mice, yaoi, half of a medical procedure, and the American jury process.

I tried to keep every page in here save for the very very very incriminating stuff. I believe that every part of my process is worth sharing, even if it's not the most beautiful. I think that this type of authenticity really helps people understand process more, as I've learned that everything starts with the sketching process. A good confident sketch means a good confident artist. Having nothing to hide makes you freer! I strive for these kinds of drawings.

Simultaneously, I kept a slightly larger sketchbook, but at the time of sharing this one, I am not done with the other. Stay tuned for that~!
